Frequently Asked Questions
Our Work Together
Therapy is a space for deep, transformative work—an investment in yourself and the life you want to create. Together, we’ll navigate the layers of your experience at a pace that feels safe, manageable, and aligned with your unique needs.
This process is grounded in attunement, meaning I will meet you where you are, tuning into your story and experiences as we work together.
Rooted in trauma-informed principles, our work focuses on building a foundation of safety, trust, and collaboration.
With this foundation in place, we can explore what’s beneath the surface, uncover the deeper roots of your struggles, and work toward the goals that matter most to you.
My areas of focus include:
Negative Self-judgments (i.e. I’m “not good enough”)
Self-defeating thoughts (i.e. “I can’t do that”) or other mindset barriers
Stress
Anxiety
Depression
Phobias
Disturbing memories
Traumatic Events

What are your fees for individual therapy?
My 30 minute consultation is free of charge.
The initial fee is $360 for 60 minutes.
The session fee for follow-up sessions is $300 for each 50-minute session.
Extended sessions up to 90 minutes are prorated based on the hourly fee of $360.
What are your fees for individual intensive therapy?
My 6 hour program with 5 face-to face hours is $2,500
All Intensive require a 50% non-refundable deposit due upon scheduling
All Intensives require the 50% balance due prior to intensive start time
Multiple sessions may be scheduled as needed
Do you accept insurance?
I accept insurance as an out-of-network provider for all insurance providers.
If you have out-of-network benefits with your insurance plan, at your request, I will provide you a monthly superbill for you to submit to potentially receive partial reimbursement.
Please be aware that having out-of-network benefits does not guarantee that claims will be approved or that your provider will reimburse you the amount of my fee.
As of January 2023, insurance companies will no longer reimburse for extended psychotherapy sessions. Any potential reimbursement would be for the first 60 minutes of each extended or intensive session only.
Please contact your provider directly for the out-of-network coverage, coinsurance and limits of your plan. Please note all insurance carriers require a diagnosis on any superbill you submit.
What should I ask my insurance carrier?
Questions to ask your insurance carrier are:
Does my plan have out-of-network benefits? If so, how do I submit superbills?
Do I have an out-of-network deductible? How much is it?
What is the allowed amount for CPT codes 90791 (for the initial session) and 90834 (for 50 minute non-intensive follow-up sessions) and 90837 (if you’re doing an intensive therapy) session?
Please be aware, the allowed amount is the amount the insurance will allow for the service you will be submitting for. It is this amount that is applied to your deductible (typically less than my full fee) and used to calculate your coinsurance.
Once my deductible is met, what is my coinsurance? (This is a percentage that is deducted from the amount allowed for reimbursement and is your responsibility once you’ve fulfilled your deductible.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for those with financial need. Currently all spots are full as of November 2024.
What is your consistency policy?
If you need to be absent from a session, and you notify me prior to the session start time, you can either make up a session seven days before or after your original appointment. I will make every effort to find a time for you to make up a session.
If you are unable to notify me prior to the session’s scheduled start time or choose not to make up the missed session, then you will be charged full fee for the missed session.
Where are you located?
My online psychotherapy practice is based out of New York. I am licensed in New York, New Jersey, and am a Registered Out of State Telehealth Provider in Florida. I also hold an Interim Telehealth Registration in Vermont (valid until December 31, 2025).
I can work with clients throughout all four of these states.
How do I request a consultation?
You can request a free 30-minute consultation on my contact page. You’ll be brought to a calendar with my availability where you can request an appointment.
I will confirm that I received your request and send a brief consultation questionnaire that is required to be completed before we speak.
Our consultation will be rescheduled if the form is not completed by 2 hours prior to our scheduled consultation time.
Please clarify any insurance related questions with your insurance carrier prior to our consultation.
